FAQ

Q: What is the pressure drop of IOREX?
A: The pressure drop is essentially imperceptible. The pressure drop is very similar to a valve.

Q: How often does IOREX need to be replaced?
A: The device will last at least 25 years.

Q: How many do I need to install?
A: It depends on factors like the flow rate and water age. Generally, water that passes through IOREX remains effective for approximately 72 hours.

Q: What are the temperature limitations of the IOREX?
A: IOREX is effective in pipes where water temperatures range from as low as 33° F to 350° F. When installed, the device should be insulated if the temperature falls below freezing.

q: Does IOREX remove any toxic chemicals from water?
A: IOREX does not remove anything from the source water – that includes any toxic chemicals that could be in the source water.

Q: Would IOREX clear brown water that is due to rust already present in the source water?
A: The device will last at least 25 years.

Q: How many do I need to install?
A: IOREX would not be effective in clearing up discoloration in the source water, such as well water. While there may be some improvement in the turbidity, there are too many factors that would make any long-term improvement unlikely.
